Hi Everyone We are back with a Brand New Release! You know we love our floral’s & we have a few lovely release to come very soon – but today’s is the wonderful Chrysanthemum’s, which look so beautiful shaded in. With Mother’s Day (UK) coming up soon this digi stamp would be perfect for a special card.
Card sample One
For the first sample I’ve gone bold and bright with oranges and yellows. Keeping it fairly simple with matt and layering & die cutting. To start I’ve stamped around the edge of of the card base with small flower from our Chrysanthemum Flower Head Polymer Stamps. Die cutting a piece of burnt orange mirror card & embossed it with a dotty check embossing flower (which I think is from Tattered Lace). To stay with the checked theme I’ve selected a paper from our ‘Sunny Sunflowers‘ Paper Pack. After shaded the Chrysanthemum Digi Stamp – I’ve die cut – glittered the edge & pop foam pads on the back – & made the sentiment into a flag. Finishing off with some of our coloured mixed Pearls.
Sample Card Two
For the second sample we’ve created this gorgeous, eye catching purple Chrysanthemum card. I’ve folded a piece of A4 card in half to create an A5 card & then cut the front in half. Die cutting squares & turning them round to make a diamond shape – to place in the center. Using one of the ‘Elegant Florals‘ papers on the back part of the part matted onto purple card. For the left hand side of the card I’be used the remaining part of the purple card & used a strip embossed folder to add a little pattern and texture. Adding a little of our ‘Lilac Twinkle‘ Glitter & white pearls in the corners

Hello Everyone We are back today welcoming Autumn in by giving you a step by step tutorial on how to shade the coat on our Autumn Girl Digi Stamp. We first released this digi in 2016 – the thing I love about her is the movement I’ve tried to capture – with the wind blowing her coat and hair. The leaves also swirling in the background.
You could cut around autumn girl or die cut her – this way you get her with or without the leafy background.
Since we are colouring ‘Autumn Girl’ Digi I thought I’d go for an autumn colour palette. To choose my colours I often hop on over to pinterest & find a nice colour palette on there. Just like this one which inspired the colours I have used;

*Please note this is how I colour and shade & all opinions & instructions are my own. I’m not promoting any brands these are just the brands on alcohol markers and pencils I use.
This week we launched our Brand New ‘Daisy Posy’ Clear Stamps & today we are going to show you how to create this cute mini Birthday Card. Below we will list the materials & show you a step by step guide – lets go…
What you’ll need;
* Twinkle Lane Designs – Daisy Posy Clear Stamp Set * White Card * Blue Card * Embossing Folder * Small Pearls * Ribbon * Black Ink Pad * Alcohol Markers / Colouring Pencils * Glitter * Foam Pads *Edge Die * Double Sided Tape
STEP BY STEP Guide
Step 1: With a plain white piece of card – stamp your daisy posy twice – you will need to use an ink pad which doesn’t bleed when using alcohol markers. We’ve gone for blue hues but you could a colour of your choice. Once I’ve shaded with promarkers, I then put shading in with coloured pencils.
Step 2: Once your happy with the shading – cut around the daisy flowers – cutting off the stalks. Then take another piece of A4 white card – fold in half to make an A5 card – measure the centre point & cut in half – this will give you an A6 card. Fold will be to the left & opening to the right.
Step 3: Blue card measurement; 5.7 x 14.8cms White card measurement; 5.1 x 14.8cms These measurements include the fancy edge cut with the die.
Step 4: With foam pads – stick these to the back of both cut out daisies & the blue piece of card. Remember not to place foam pads where your daisies go behind the blue card. Instead place a little double sided tape there – to make sure the edges stick down.
Step 5: With your die cut edge white piece of card – grab an embossing folder & emboss your card.
Step 6: With some ribbon (we’ve used gingham) stick this in the middle of the embossed piece of white card & then stick the card down with double sided tape to the blue card.
Step 7: Time for some finishing touches. Cut some extra ribbon & tie this into your strip of ribbon in a knot – to create a faux bow. Using the Happy Birthday stamp in the pack – stamp this on a scrap piece of paper & cut it into a small rectangle. Glue small pearls onto the edges of the cut shape. Then add some glitter to the centre of the flower – for a little sparkle.

Hello Everyone Today we are sharing with you our second sample using the Comos Flower Clear Polymer Stamps. When we first started shading the flowers they started off a more pale, pastel colours but once we layered the promarkers and coloured pencils they ended up much bright and bolder. Below we will give a list of materials we used & how to guide to create this eye catching Birthday card.
What you’ll need; * Twinkle Lane Designs – Cosmos Flower Clear Stamp Set *Alcohol Markers and Coloured Pencils * 7×7 Card Black * White Card * Black Card * Adhesive Gems * Green Card * Glitter (Gold & Silver) * Black Ink Pad * Square Nesting Die & Lacy Die (we’ve used a Sue Wilson Die) * Foam Pads & Double Sided Tape * Scrap Paper
Step 1: With the square nesting dies – cut the black card 7×7″ & then take the next size nesting square down & cut this one in white card. You will then need to stamp the smaller cosmos twice onto the scrap piece of paper to create a mask. Cut around the edge – you will need this once you start stamping around the edge of the white square card.
Step 2: Start stamping with the smaller cosmos in one of the corner. Mask this one & then continue stamping around the whole edge of the white card. When you get to the final cosmos – you will need to mask off the two cosmos flower on either side.
Step 3: Shade in all the cosmos flower in a colour palette of your choice – we’ve choosen five bright shades. Using promarkers and coloured pencils to shade each one. Once they are all shaded – use a glue pen around the outside edge & sprinkle silver glitter over the glue & tap off excess.
Step 4: On your spare bit of white card stamp our some individual cosmos flowers – shade those & cut round the outside edge. You can add a little gold glitter to the centers on each flower.
Step 5: I’ve used a Sue Wilson die & cut it in a spare piece of black card. Then with the same die set cut out a center piece & stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment in the middle. Laying these piece up with foam pads & stuck into the center of the stamp cosmos background.
Step 6: Once all your layers have been glued to the card blank – finish the card off with the individual cosmos flowers you stamped earlier & then some adhesive gems in the corners.
This week we hit 1000 sales in our Etsy Shop and that is thanks to all our lovely customers and followers – we are so over whelmed as some of you may know I run this small business while working as a machinist during the normal working week – I started Twinkle Lane Designs mainly because I was wanting to add something a little different to the card I created, then friends and family asked if I’d print some of the designs for them too – I opened my Etsy Shop not long after hoping you would all love the designs I created too. This year has been hard for everyone – especially with nothing much to look forward to & plans cancelled so this bit of good news this week has given me such a boost – so thank you!

Hope you are all well? We’ve been designing a new logo, giving the brand a refresh – some of you may have already seen it over on our facebook group. I also hinted about a new range of products we are developing – it maybe a few weeks before I can give you all any update, but I’m very excited about the new step for Twinkle Lane Designs.
Here is our New Release ‘Hanging Basket’ Digi Stamp. Full of beautiful flowers and foliage. I’ve been wanting to design a hanging basket for a while – but this is the prettiest I have design so far. Great to shade in as many different colours as you like, with petunia’s, pansies daisies and many more pretty flowers.
Mowbray Designs has created this pretty card, using pixie powders behind the lacy die cut. She’s then shaded the new Hanging Basket digi stamp & placed into the centre of the die cut shape. Finishing the card off with pink adhesive gems, a die cut sentiment & a lace bow.
For our samples we’ve made this vibrant card in purple and green shades. We’ve printed the digi stamp off at full size – shading it in with pro-markers and coloured pencils, die cutting it out with oval nesting die & a spellbinders lacy die in the background. To make the leafy background we’ve used an embossing ink & wow powders. To finish the card we’ve stamped a sentiment, added glitter around the edges, adhesive gems and an organza bow.
Also New To Etsy;
Have you had chance to take a look at some of our other new items recently added to the Etsy Shop – we’ve been creating beautiful floral frames with some of the newer flowers which are also available as digi stamps.

We’ve been making another card with our cute Ice Skating Penguins. We will show you a step by step guide on how to create your own. There’s also a quick youtube colouring tutorial on how to shade our penguin digi.
For this card we have used just the lady penguin. This is a tunnel style card – instead of building the layers up on the card base – you build them on the inside – creating a tunnel.
Watch our how to shade the penguin digi in this youtube video;
Promarkers colours used to shade to penguin in the tutorial above
STEP BY STEP; Guide to assembling the card
Step 1: With your pre-scored 8×8 blank card – measure 1cm either side of the centre score line & then make your own score lines along your marked line. Step 2: You will now have a valley fold Step 3: Select the papers/card & nesting dies. We’ve used circle nesting die in 4 gradient sizes. Step 4: Matt & layer your chosen card stock to the main card – take the second largest circle & place in the center of the card front & die cut out all layers. Step 5: Cut the different layers of card stock using the nest circles. Make sure each circle is large enough to matt the small layer onto. Remember you building the layers in-wards, instead of out. Step 6: Use foam pads to stick all inner layers together. I’ve added small ice skates (available from our Free Digi Sheet) around the outer frame along with die cut snowflakes. Step 7: Shade in your digi stamp – see youtube tutorial for tips. Step 8: Finish off with adhesive gems. You will have a lovely tunnel style Christmas card.
Here you can see all the build up of layers. I love the colour palette of teals and lilacs. You can get the mini individual ice skates from the FREEBIES section on the site – see the competition page on how to access.
