1000 Sales – Card Challenge!

This week we hit 1000 sales in our Etsy Shop and that is thanks to all our lovely customers and followers – we are so over whelmed as some of you may know I run this small business while working as a machinist during the normal working week – I started Twinkle Lane Designs mainly because I was wanting to add something a little different to the card I created, then friends and family asked if I’d print some of the designs for them too – I opened my Etsy Shop not long after hoping you would all love the designs I created too. This year has been hard for everyone – especially with nothing much to look forward to & plans cancelled so this bit of good news this week has given me such a boost – so thank you!

Christmas In July; Snowglobe Penguins Inspiration

Our design team have been making some wonderful card samples using this weeks newest digi stamp release. The cute Penguin Snowglobe will make a wonderful center piece to any Christmas Card. Below we give you some inspiration on how you could use this fabulous digi stamp.

Mowbray Designs has a used a snowglobe shaped card to showcase this weeks release. Shading in the digi with blues and greys – while adding a little sparkle to the snow & blue clear drops between the snowflake & clear drops for the snow ladies scarf. Adding the blue snowflake digital paper to the background with a little glitter around the edge. Finishing off with die cut snowflakes and a sentiment.

Using a square card Helen has matted and layered a mix of grey and white card topped off with the blue snowflake paper from the ‘Christmas Penguins’ Paper Pack – she’s then inked around the edge with a dark blue ink pad. Shading the digi in with a mix of blue and grey tones & then adding a layer of glitter over the top of the globe part of the digi. Finished off with gems in the corners.

Julianne has created two wonderful samples. Shading in the digi stamps with copic markers and then for the background she stamped snowflakes and used a clear heat embossing powder over the top. Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks where used to ink the card. Honeybee Stamps have been used for the die cut sentiments – finished off with some sequins.
